September event benefits Northern Illinois Food Bank and We Care of Grundy County

The employees of Associated Orthodontists are supporting Hunger Action Month by hosting a Peanut Butter & Jelly Drive throughout the month of September. The drive will run from Monday, September 5 through Thursday, September 28 and all items collected will be donated to the Northern Illinois Food Bank and We Care of Grundy County.

Current patients of Associated Orthodontists participating in the drive will be entered into a drawing to win an AO gift pack, including a $30 GameStop gift card, as a thank you for their donation.

The general public is also welcome to participate, and can drop off jars of peanut butter and/or jelly at any Associated Orthodontists location during normal business hours. In addition to PB & J, any non-perishable food items will be accepted and appreciated. Participants are encouraged to contact their local Associated Orthodontists office to confirm weekly hours of operation.

“At AO, we continually look for ways to give back to the communities in which we work, serve and live,” said Julie Gardner, Director of Practice Development with Associated Orthodontists. “We are proud to partner with organizations like Northern Illinois Food Bank and We Care of Grundy County to raise awareness about the existence of hunger and help our communities in need.”
